Awareness Team Member

SafeSide's Awareness Team is a specialist unit dedicated to creating welcoming, safe spaces at events of all scales. We are looking for empathetic, calm, and well-trained individuals to serve as visible support figures for guests — with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ attendees and others who may benefit from a dedicated point of contact. This role requires both emotional intelligence and the ability to de-escalate situations professionally.

Requirements

Training or background in social work, psychology, counselling, or related field preferred

Strong awareness of LGBTQ+ issues, needs, and best-practice support approaches

Excellent de-escalation and conflict resolution skills

Calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental communication style

Ability to remain composed under pressure in busy event environments

Fluency in German; English strongly preferred
